Our team
Our researchers and clinicians work as one team, sharing data, insights and expertise every step of the way.

We lead by connecting. We embody Western Australia’s collective spirit. A local heart, with global reach, and the belief that together, we can do what no single organisation can.
The Centre brings together the cancer research expertise of The Kids Research Institute Australia and The University of Western Australia, with the clinical excellence of the Perth Children's Hospital Department of Paediatric and Adolescent Oncology and Haematology. Together, passionate multidisciplinary cancer researchers work alongside a highly skilled oncology and haematology clinical team of clinicians, nurses, researchers and allied health professionals to improve outcomes for children with cancer.
Progress in childhood cancer depends on strong collaboration. The WA Comprehensive Kids Cancer Centre operates as Team WA - an inclusive and growing network of clinicians, researchers, families, community groups, government, not-for-profits and industry partners, all working towards a shared vision of better outcomes for children with cancer.
By bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives, we create a collaborative environment that strengthens our ability to achieve ambitious goals and accelerate progress. We actively welcome new partners who share our commitment and recognise that working together enables us to deliver greater impact than any single organisation alone.
Through this coordinated, child-centred approach, Team WA is helping to transform childhood cancer research and treatment in Western Australia, ensuring that children and families benefit from the collective strength of our state's expertise.

Our researchers and clinicians work as one team, sharing data, insights and expertise every step of the way.
